Our glass hurricane lamps require the use of candle sand or gravel in the base to stabilise your candle as it burns. This is due to the natural dip at the base of each piece, created by the handmade techniques used. It's essential to ensure that your candle doesn't tip and heat up the glass, which can shatter when subjected to direct flames.
