Scandi-style kitchenware

Scandi-style kitchenware

April 18, 2016 0 By Nordic House

It might be a cliché, but the kitchen truly is the heart of the home – the place where we gather after a long day to catch up, pour a glass of wine, cook and enjoy dinner with our loved ones. The Scandis share our passion for this hardworking room, and in true Nordic style, their kitchens are known for their efficiency and style – the perfect combination of form and function.

Creating a welcoming kitchen that’s also a joy to use is one of the best ways of increasing your home’s value – and even the smallest touches such as storage jars and butter dishes can make a world of difference to the look and feel of the room. At Nordic House, we’re known for our beautiful tableware, which has always proved incredibly popular with customers. So this year, I decided to increase our kitchen and dining collections to include some truly wonderful Scandi kitchenware pieces – from classic marble serving boards to timeless cast iron trivets. They were all spotted during my regular buying trips to Scandinavia, and many of them are exclusive to us in the UK.

In this blog, I thought I’d share with you some of my favourite products – all of which are both incredibly useful and the epitome of understated style! Click on the pictures to find out more…
